[CyberTOPS] ot-dsl problems and read on web/no mail

had a major problems getting on -line yesterday.  called tech support.   the
techie i spoke with said that he would have up to the engineers and would get
back to me.   the local techie called and said that it was my modem.   he said
that there would be one at the desk for me.  i told him that i had no way of
getting over there to pick it up.   he said he'd have the service techie drop
it off and to leave the old one in a plastic bag on the door knob on the front
porch.  i disconnected everythin last night and put it in a plastic shopping
bag.   i hung it on the door knob on the storm door this morning.   i called
tech support when i got home this afternoon so i could make sure that i did it
right.  it's working very well now.   i'll be on read on web/no mail until
april 2nd or 3rd.
