[CyberTOPS] Question about TOPS charms & awards

   In our chapter we offer charms for the first 10 # lost each year.   Our
leader is excellent in giving little incentive charms for the first 5#  15#
and etc.  These are little charms she makes, one time she bought a belt for 25
cents and it had little dangles on it she cut them off and made 39 charms that
she called sunburst charms and gave them for a 5# loss.  The 10, 20 and etc.
charms she gives an official TOPS charm.  We do not have a certain charm, she
just gives a TOPS charm.  Say last year someone lost 37 pounds, she starts
over the first of the year on the first 10# of the year....BUT... when they
reach the 40# total she gives special recognition.  At Christmas she found a
little string of Christmas lights  (the miniture kind.   Cut apart and each
week that you weighed in without a gain....you got to chose a little
light.......very creative and very inspiring to each of us.

I asked this question a couple weeks ago on another board but didn't get any
nswers.  Was hoping someone could give me some direction.

We are finally ready to order some charms for the first time and I have a
ouple questions.  There's been a lot of talk about the 10# charm.  I don't
ee this on the brochure for charms.  Am I missing it?  I do see the 10#
talian charm, but we're planning to use the other types of charms.

Also, do other chapters give 10# charms for every 10# lost or are there
ther charms for those that have lost more?   We have a couple members
ho've lost in the 40s and a couple who've lost in the 20's so far.

And finally, is there a charm for charter members?  I see the pin, but don't
ee a charm.

Any suggestions would be appreciated.
