In some communities in the United States there are volunteer fire
departments so there is no charge for the ambulance.  $800.00-YIKES.   I
would contact the hospital and ambulance company and find out if your
insurance company has been billed if I were you.

 prayers are needed and appreciated for sure as today another bill came in
for
the ambulance service of almost $800.00........guess I never will be going
to
the states again and that is very sad as there are a lot of people I will
miss
seeing.

How in the world do any of you folks living in the USA afford to live there,
this is totally amazing to me and unheard of here.....................Please
pray these charges will be picked up by the insurance I 'thought" I had
before
I left Canada, this is not good for my blood pressure either.

At least our Alberta Health Care should be picking up some of this bill, no
worries though I will fight this for sure.

So this is almost 10,000 USA funds for the hospital, for 22 hrs ....and
another 800 for the ambulance there.......................Wow...............
