How do you spell backslide?  V A C A T I O N !!!

 

A lot has been happening in my TOPS world lately.  My last weigh in was on
Sept 14th.  Then I went on vacation (to Vegas, the buffet capital of the
world).  Was excused from my meeting that week and last week due to starting
my own chapter.  We had an open house, but since it wasn't an official
meeting, there was no weigh in.

 

So last night I had our first official meeting.  I gained 8.3 lbs since
9/14.  I was devastated, but remember putting every stinking calorie in my
mouth.  Goes to show you that I still haven't learned that this is a
lifestyle change, not a temporary fix.  Luckily our AC and Coordinator were
at our meeting last night and our AC told me "Don't let a goof up become a
give up" and our Coordinator told me "It happened.  It's over.  Now learn
from it and move forward."   That helped a lot.

 

On a brighter note though, we started our new chapter with NINE members and
I have 3 still on vacation who plan to join.  I'm very excited!  Can't wait
to build a great chapter!!
