[CyberTOPS] 11/5/09 Weight, execise, and Christmas Loser's Challenge Week 1

Weight: 4.8 (gain)
Exercise: 11.29 miles / 160 minutes


Well another week has come and gone. This week was not good for me. All of the
weight that I lost last week found it's way back again, plus some additional
buddies decided to join it. I had a weight gain of 4.8 pounds this week. To be
totally honest can't be upset by this gain because I just didn't try this
week.


I really need to stop this one week of being good and doing everything right
and then the next week I'll have an attitude where I just don't care. I need
to get focused and remain focused.


This week was the kick off week for the bChristmas Loser's Challengeb that
my friend Jess is hosting over at youtube. For this week's challenge we had to
make a cue card of all the reason's why we want to loss weight. Because a lot
of times if you want to reach for a second cookie having that cue card next to
you with all of the reason's why you want to loss weight will help you to
think about taking that 2nd cookie. Here are the reason's why I want to loss
weight.


In 1994 my mom had the Angioplasty surgery and then in 2004 she had a triple
bypass surgery. Also strokes and diabetes also run in my family. Knowing that
all of these run in my family, especially heart disease, it scares me because
I may be in the same situation as my mom some day. That's why I want to loss
weight now and get healthy.


I'm about 15 pounds from being half way to goal, and knowing that ibm so
close to this mark just pushes me to keep on going until I reach my goal
weight.


I want to be an inspration to others, especialy young people. I started
gaining weight when I was 12 years old. I want young people to realize that
they can do it, and really should do it, while there young because the older
you get the more harder it is to loss the weight.


In 2012 I'm going to be attending my first TOPS IRD in San Diego, California.
I will be up on the stage graduating with the other KOPS members. How awesome
would that be right in my home state.


I have a long term goal of getting under 200 pounds. Once I'm there I have a
very special award that have chosen for myself. I'm not going to stay what the
award is because I'm keeping it a secret.


In 2009 I was a Division winner for my weight loss in 2008, well in 2011 I
want to be a division winner for my weight loss in 2010. What is really
special about this in 2011 California is switching over to SRD. How great
would that be to be up on the stage in front of all of the TOPS chapters here
in California.


So those are all of my reasons for wanting to loss weight and i'm sure there
are more, but these are what I came up with.


BTW I talked about our Northern CA Inspiration Day at the meeting tonight and
someone else is going with me, yeah. I'm so glad because I did want to have to
drive all that way. My friend said that she loves to drive and it wouldn't be
a problem. I really excited about this event. I'm going to bring my camera and
take pictures, well actually I better first make sure that's allowed.
