Subject: What a difference it makes...

Today I was able to donate blood for the first time in YEARS (since
maybe I was 19)! I have gone down there many times and many sticks but
never successfully able to get blood. Yes, I know that many are most
likely thinking... "so and your point"... well it never has been easy
for me because of my weight and them being able to get a vein (that
works). Because of my weight loss (and a very determined guy who wasn't
able to get me last time), I was able. I know it will make a difference
to someone who gets my blood; however, it is something that is a small
but eye opening thing to me. Almost like a pat on the back. 

 

Many of you guys have known me for years and some a very short time. The
support that you guys have shown me has a lot to do with my success.
Each of you has touched my life in one way or another and I wanted to
just take a minute to remind everyone that you do make a difference and
thank you.
