[CyberTOPS] Why Diet?

I really like the poem Joan.   My doctor asked me yesterday if my weight
loss has had any effect on my acid reflux.   I told him that I haven't had
an attack in over a year.

I just can't imagine why I need to diet
If they have a size 20, I simply go buy it.
Things don't look too bad with a jacket or vest
It just shows that I have been overly blessed.
 
But then there is summer, when others wear shorts
I put on a pair and hear snickers and snorts.
In a swimming suit I look like Eva Gabor
If you add a few layers and add some more.
 
At parties the gowns really show off your figure
Getting into one takes all my vim and vigor.
I put on a girdle and can't sit or bend.
Or it rolls halfway down and pinches my skin.
 
For some reason I get out of breath fairly easy
And sometimes my tummy feels achey and queezy
Others say I look nice, why shouldn't I buy it?
Knowing all this, why should I need to diet?
