[CyberTOPS] question on incentives

We do a couple of things in our chapter.

1. Everyone brings a piece of fruit
or puts in 50 cents in the basket. If it is a special week, we will bring in a
special item (ex. St. Patricks Day-we all had to bring in a fruit or veggie
that was green, another week we were going to have a talk on breakfast bars).
We are just trying to keep it interesting. Oh, yes, another idea I want to do
is 100 calorie packs. I want to them to bring in a 100 calorie pack. This can
be one they make or buy. Then our meeting program will be on 100 calories
packs.
     If you have a lost, turtle, or Kops in leeway, this week and the
previous week your name is put in for a drawing. Then one name is drawn out
and is the Champ of the Week and gets the basket of fruit. We don't base it on
how much you lose as this way is more fair, if you only have a small amount of
weigh to lose vs some one who has a large amount to lose.

2. We also have a 
large chart with each members name across the top and the week on the side.
Each member colors their space according to lost, turtle, gain, in leeway, new
member. At a glance you can see how many losses you have had in a row. This is
a good visual tool.

3. We also do the gift wrap in newspaper, and
you unwrap a layer for your loss, turtle, new member or in leeway. Who ever
opens it get the gift.

4. Another chart we are keeping is 100 pound chart for
the chapter. We want to remove at least 100 pounds this year as a chapter. We
have a chart with numbers 1 -100 on it. Each month we mark off how many pounds
we lost as a chapter. As of the end of April our 3 month total is 51 pounds. I
am very proud of our chapter and our members. I just hope that we can continue
all year. I hope I have to find another chart.

Best Loser of the month we
give a charm or the price of the charm off their dues. We decided to do this
as not everyone wants a charm.

[CyberTOPS] question on incentives

Hi all,

In your chapters, after you have
roll call, and for the people who lost that week, do you give out any
incentive or something?  We used to give out artificial flowers for all the
losers.  What do different chapters do or what awards are presented for best
loser of the week or best loser of the month?  I need fresh ideas!!
