Gained:  1.4 pounds
Exercise:  80 minutes

Last Friday I had minor surgery on the big toe on my left foot.  I have been
sitting with my foot elevated since that time until yesterday when I tried
to go and do a little shopping.   That didn't work out well because last
night I had such pain in my toe.  Well, of course I had a gain last night
and it is all my fault cause I should have been more careful with the eating


We had a lovely KOPS celebration at our chapter last night for Rose Brown
who received her first numeral charm.  She has been a KOPS for just a little
over a year.  We toasted her with white grape juice and presented her with a
chapter gift and of course two roses.  One red and one yellow and she also
received a yellow buddy rose to present to member who is getting close to
goal and just needs a little encouragement to take that extra step.  Well
she actually chose to give both yellow roses out to two people who really
are close and need all the help they can get to do it.  It was an elegant
and happy ceremony and most of us had tears in our eyes.
