Here is a link to the kind I was thinking of at a cost of $2.49 for a set 
of 2 plus whatever shipping costs are.  They do not ship to Canada, but 
perhaps you could arrange to have it shipped to someone you know in the US 
and they could mail it to you.  However, I do believe I've seen then at 
either Walmart or Zellers in Canada, and they might also be found at 
anywhere that does bridal decorations (though would be a bit more there 
perhaps):
