Winter has definitely arrived in Southern Virginia today!  We have about 6 to
8 inches of snow.  Other than a dusting this is the first snow we have
received in a couple of years now.  In fact I can't remember when we have had
this much snow.

Anyhoo!   No TOPS meeting tonight.

Went to my first Area Captain training session Saturday.  It was great!
Really learned a lot.  Found out that I will be working almost from sun up to
sun down at SRD so no time to make it to the beach!  I worry about the two
members from my chapter, but they said "Not to worry, they will find something
to do."  They don't like the idea of driving to and around in Virginia Beach.
Called the hotel last night and arranged for another night's stay.  I had
planned on leaving Saturday after the session but found out I would be in a
"wrap up" session until 10 PM.   I am looking forward to my first SRD as field
staff.
