WEIGHT: lost 1.4 pounds (yahoo)
EXERCISE: 19 miles

Some Highlights from my week:

WEEK # 4 OF THE 15 WEEK CHALLENGE:
This week we had to list or short term and long term goals. Here are mine.

SHORT TERM GOALS
1)To track everyday what I do, with my eating, exercising, and water. This is
something that I'm still working on. I am findingtat I do get back on track
again rather quickly, so I'm proud of that.

REWARD: My award for keeping on track is to be proud of myself and my daily
success. I don't honestly believe that an award has to a material think. My
weekly success of keeping on track is it's own reward.

2) Six Week Challenges: I've come up with this idea a while back. The idea is
to complete a challenge for 6 weeks. It could be a food, water, exercise,
weight loss, etc. basically any kind of challenge that I think of. For my 1st
6 week's challnge I have to have a loss every week. Since beginning my 6
weeks of weight loss challenge I have had a couple of gains, so I started over
again the following week. After my weigh in tonight I have now complete 5
weeks of losses, so next week is my final week Wish my luck gang.

REWARD: Of course I will be coming with with different awards for all the
challenges that I finish. This first challenge that I complete my award is to
order some things from the TOPS web site. I already know what I'm going to
order and once I do I will let y'all know what it is.

3)100 MILES EXERCISING: Every 100 miles of carido that I completely I award
myself with something. I've been doing this for a couple of years and so far
I've already completed 500 miles.

REWARD: It's always going to be different every time, but usually it will be a
movie or a TV DVD that I order from Amazon.

LONG TERM GOALS

1)5K JOG: I've totally hit the jogging bug. I really want to be able to jog a
full 5k without stopping. I'm currently doing the couch to 5k program which is
a 9 week program. To be honest I did stop it for a few week, but I'm getting
back into it again.

REWARD: This is going to be another non-material award because I honestly feel
that completing a 5K jog would be it's own great award and satisfaction to
me.

2)UNDER 200 POUNDS: When I first joined TOPS I weigh in at 282.0 pounds, which
was 4 years ago. In our chapter we get certificates for Best Monthly Loser
(worth a free months chapter dues) Best Weekly Loser (worth one week of
chapter dues). Since receiving my first certificate, I have not turned in one
certificate, and so I currently have about 10 months worth of certificates.

REWARD: When I finally get to under 200 pounds, I plan on turn all of my
certificates in and then I won't have to pay any dues for a very long time. I
have about 15 more pounds to lose and then I'll be turning all of my
cerificates in.

3)TOPS TO KOPS: Once I reach my goal weight I will graduate and become a KOPS
member. I'm shooting to reach my goal sometime in 2010. Once I do reach my
goal I'm going to wait a while, at least 6 monh maybe longer, before becoming
a KOPS because I want to see how I do at maintaining my weight for a while
before making that transition over to KOPS. I do know for certain that I will
become a KOPS before the end of 2011.

REWARD: A wonderful new dress that I can wear at IRD in 2012. In 2012 IRD is
going to be in San Diego, CA and that will be my first IRD I'm going to
attend.

WELCOME TO THE WORLD BABY WYATT
Our neighbor's had a baby boy this past weekend a boy Wyatt. Richard, the
proud new daddy's, his wife was in labor for 25 hours. The doctor finally had
to do a "C" section. So I"m not sure if Wyatt was born on Friday or Saturday.

This weekend I'm going to Reno, but I do plan on remaining on track. the hotel
I'm staying at doesn't have a gym, boo; so I will be walking outside. And I'm
going to bring my own snacks for the ride there, 4.5 hours.

Well until next week.

xoxo,
Katerine
