I'm recruiting for walkers for the February pedometer challenge.
Gee whiz January went by fast!! It got away from me and I should have
posted this note
4 days ago. Anyway.... let me know if you want to join in for February.
What we are going to do for this month is: I will buddy up everyone that
joins with someone. So it will take me a
few days to let you know who your buddy is. I know how some of the
regulars walk, so I will take this into
consideration with teaming you up. The buddy you will have will either walk
many more steps than you do,
or they will walk much less than you do. My idea is for you to encourage
the slow walker to walk more....
The team that walks the most steps will win, both people will win.
Here are the basic rules
1. You must have a pedometer
2. You must wear it everyday
3. You must send the results to Suzy EVERY EVENING at qponsuzy at hughes.net **
4. Don't join if you have no intentions on staying with it, it's only for 28
days.
** If you are to be away for a weekend or a few days, just let me know
ahead of time, and I will make a note of the time you'll be gone, if you
are sick and didn't report, you may report the next morning, if you forget
to report, you may report the next morning. If you forgot to wear your
pedometer report in with a 0 anyway. If you lose your pedometer,
report in anyway with a 0, and go buy yourself a new one.
If you're dead, I will no longer except reports from you.
Please try your hardest to report your results each evening before going to
bed. When you miss reporting 3,4,5 or more days, I have to track you down,
it
takes extra time for me. And sometimes it messes up my record keeping.
When reporting, send me an e-mail with the date, and your pedometer total,
These contests are to motivate you to get up off your fanny and walk more,
if you only stand and walk in place in front of the TV. that's ok, you're
moving.
If you'd like to join, all you need to do is send me an email with your
name and address (in case you win, for your prize).
