I was rooting for Melissa and very glad she won. I would have been happy 
with Jeffrey winning but would rather see a show with Melissa and the type 
of cooking she will be doing. You are talking about Adam Gertler who got 3rd 
place last season. I liked Big Daddy's House but I didn't care for I Will 
Work For Food so I stopped watching it. I wonder whatever happened to 
Lisa....the second place winner from last season? Melissa moved from Texas 
to Washington state I read. I guess she will travel back and forth during 
the tapings. They don't tape many shows a season I believe.

I like it better when the judges pick the winner then it's more about the 
cooking and etc. and not just a popularity contest like American Idol and 
etc. I just started watching this show last season.

I didn't like Debbie either for the exact same reasons you stated below. I 
also got soooooooooooo tired of her saying "Korean" and every time she did 
we would take a drink! LOL!

My parents watch Design Star but I never did.  I watched one on Bravo about 
people designing houses and rooms and it was good and a lot of drama but I 
can't remember the name of it yet. But I hated the judge who said, "See you 
later decorator!" at the end of each episode. LOL!
