I run this every year.......have done it for 4 yrs now.

KOPS FOR THE HOLIDAYS,

I start it the Weigh in before Thanksgiving to the first weigh in for the
NEW YEAR.

I do have a gift for all those that MADE the challange, and there are the
majority of the members that do the challange , do make KOPS For the
holidays.........( completly voluntary to join in)

Years ago on this list.  Someone posted a KOPS for the Holidays contest.  I
suggest you volunteer to run a contest lasting 13 weeks.  The rules are
simple.  Whatever, your TOPS members starting weight is say 200 pounds.
They can not go above 203 or they lose their status!  For this contest
thought TOPS can lose more than the 7 pounds in lower leeway.  I'd make it
so once they get below 7 under goal they have a new goal weight.  The prizes
can be something from the dollar store to each person that succeeds.  They
have two weeks to get back into leeway if they go out on the top.  If they
lose their temporary KOPS status they are out of the contest!

I'd might be tempted to start the contest September 1, then run the contest
until the second weigh in of the new year!  That way they will have to
survive Thanksgiving and Christmas with out gains.  For your KOPS members of
the chapter,  if they stay in the black for the length of the contest they
win a prize!

This could be a "teachable" moment for the TOPS members of the chapter.
