Jackie,
I am truly sorry that this happened to you. I'm not a KOPS, but from talking
with other KOPS members and reading emails from cybertops I can see that being
a KOPS can be just as difficult, sometimes more, then being a TOPS. I have
always come to believe that it's harder for a person to maintain there weight
then to lose there weight. You said that this women who made the comment was
an Area Captain, I would love to know how she became one. If you ask me, she
doesn't deserve the job because our KOPS members need our support and
encourgement just as much. And speaking that way "saying why should I feel
sorry for you" I mean is that showing support for your fellow TOPS members? No
not at all. This Area Captain of your's she needs to wake up, and realize that
rather a person is a TOPS or a KOPS were all in this fight together. We can
either choose to work together by supporting each other in any way that we can
or we can choose to work alone. I personally
choose to work together with all of my fellow TOPS and KOPS members. Once
again I truly am sorry that is happened to you.
xoxo,
Katherine

I think the coleader and leader need a lesson in KOPS. I would get up
next week and tell them what it's like to be a KOPS and how it's very hard
to maintain when you get comments that aren't supportive. You don't need
to specifically say this comment, so as to not single her out, but you
need to educate this chapter on supporting KOPS.
Sounds like a very unsupportive chapter overall.
