You and me both, George.? I'm an Area Captain and would never dream of saying any such thing.? One cannot fault someone for what they are thinking (and God help her since that's her thoughts), but to verbalize that was rude, inconsiderate and thoughtless not to mention unsupportive!? I would have given her a few words myself and, like you said, called the Coordinator and Regional Director.? I may have even sent an email or called Barb Cady.

See you are a much better person than I Jackie because I would have told 
this woman off, made her aware that a TOPS member, especially an Area 
Captain, should NOT be speaking this way, and I would have reported her 
comment to my Area Coordinator and/or Regional Director. It was rude. 
Someone like that should NOT be a TOPS AC. She needs to keep her mouth shut. 
WOW! Dang I wish I was there so I could have said something too her.

I hope you both have a better week and get back in leeway ASAP. TOPS HUGS,
