[CyberTOPS] exercise

One of our members brought a speaker from the Y to our meeting Thursday night
and she did about 20 or 25 minutes of exercise with us that she does in their
Senior exercise class.
I have thought about going there but felt I was in such poor shape (weight
wise) I might not be able to do it.  Surprise!!  I could do it; maybe for not
as long as each exercise lasts, but long enough to get some good from it.  She
said that on the stand up and moving cardio exercises, you can sit down when
something starts to hurt too bad or you get out of breath. 
 
I went out Saturday and bought a pair of the proper shoes and tomorrow I do my
first class.  I am going to do one class before I join to be sure I can do it
but I firmly believe I will be able to because I am really motivated..  Then I
will join and the class is 3 days a week, plus you can come in and use
equipment any time.  This will be my first attempt at a regular exercise
class in a long time.  I told the instructor that I had a daughter getting
married the middle of June and I wanted to get my legs strong enough to make
it through the grand march and through the parents dance at the reception. 
 She told me that was a doable goal.   
 
So please wish me luck and hopefully I can send in some weight reports in the
near future that have some losses instead of the gains I have been having in
Feb. and March.
