Our gas is at $1.36.9 in Trenton, Ontario. I filled up Friday morning on
premium just before the price rose and only paid $1.19.7 at that time. I
hope all is well in Georges part of the country. We went to see Randy
Travis in concert last night at the Empire Square outdoor venue in
Belleville and it was a lovely experience with no rain and very mild shirt
sleeve temperatures. I was surprised that it didn't rain as the sky was
dark and cloudy most of the day and evening. The concert was great with
George Fox opening for Randy. When George sang "I Swear" I got goose bumps
and almost cried. What a guy!! And Randy was phenomenal and his singing is
better than ever.

Hugs;
Nan

I saw on the news what's been going on.. I just watched the footage where
the mayor I do believe got knocked off his feet by a wave.. How scary..
Well we've had a scary thing here happen and people aren't happy... We got
hit with a 13 cent per liter gas hike JUSt in case Hurricane Hike were to
hit texas.. All of Canada got hit with the hike.. We are paying the highest
price here in Ontario at 1.45.9 cents per liter..
The gas war is on..UGH..
Praying all goes well on your end George..

Just indulge me.....I'm bored! LOL!

It's now dark and very windy outside with lots of wind gusts. No rain yet.
It's coming though. We still have cable and internet and electricity THANK
GOD
and we are watching Fashion Rocks from last week with the patio door open to
hear the wind. We walked around the apartments before dark and everyone was
out and about and crazy like us!! I saw a big tree fall in the field across
from us (no houses or anything near it) and that was kind of cool but when
the
howling first started I was so scared it was a tornado. It sounded like one.
I
have never heard wind gusts like that except on TV. I was making a sandwich
for dinner and was so scared it was a tornado that I lost my appetitive and
it
takes a lot to do that! LOL!

Galveston is getting slammed.....worse than they have ever seen it! I have a
friend and TOPS pal from Port Bolivar and
I hope she got out. I have her
number but it's not working. She works at the hospital in a non medical
position but I hope she's still there!!!

More live coverage soon!!!!

I hope everyone else is safe!!!
