Hi,

I am very discouraged right now, I have been on the menu's and really
trying, I am not one that likes to write down what I eat or count
calories, Before I just tried to eat sensibly. I started gaining weight
a few months ago, that is why I thought I would start on the menu's. I
have been having some health problems and have not really been
exercising, Anyway I have been counting calories, Even did 30 min. of
exercise yesterday which I paid for by my legs killing me all day and
night, I weighed myself this morning and I have gained a pound.
I did find out the medication I am taking for leg problems has a side
effect of weight gain. I am just discouraged.
I do not want to gain back any weight I have lost, I have had quite a
few gains this year, I do not want to lose my century club status.
So now I have a question if anybody knows the answer. Why do some
medications make you gain weight?
I would not think they had mega calories in them, I am not sitting
around eating lots of junk food, eating 1,000's of extra calories. I am
wondering if I should just quit the meds, and struggle with the leg
problems, It is not like the meds helped me yesterday with the exercise
anyway. Thanks for letting me vent.

Hugs,
