Hi:  It is not supposed to be mind boggling, it is just plain simple fun, but
I would not go as far as say it is stupid...but then I am a Canadian, although
that does not necessarily mean all Canadians have to like Corner Gas.   I have
seen a few episodes I did not care for so I just turned to another channel.
 
As for Alanis, I figure whoever wants to like a movie or a star, it is their
perogative to each his own....I prefer Celine myself but Alanis is a great
entertainer, just not my style .
