[CyberTOPS] Recycling

Like Janet said, recycling is encouraged here in NYS. I take my plastic pop
bottles and aluminum pop cans to our local supermarket. They don't take
pop cans, pop bottles, beer cans and bottles at the recycling center. If
the person bringing them to the recycling center is a visitor to our area,
they'll give them directions to our local supermarket. The supermarket
does the same if the people bringing a wine bottle to the service counter
for recycling. :)

Here in New York where I live they encourage recycling. I have a trash man
and they give you a barrel and a recycle bin. I also collect cans when I
walk. It is only 5 cents here. If I bend over for a penny I can bend over
for a nickle can. I just need to call and have them come pick up my cans as
I have a lot on my porch. If you take them to the recyclable center they
charge you to drop them. Sure doesn't encourage people to recycle.
