[CyberTOPS] bake sale

We are there to sell the products not to eat them.. Trust me.. It brings in
very good money.. We bring in close to 800 dollars with one bake sell.. They
can tell, by looking at us that our support group is obviously working for
us.. Not to mention there isn't anything that no one can't eat.. It's all
about portion control... Lots of people bake at Christmas time but don't have
the time so these sales are a big hit then.. Also we'll have a first one at
Easter time which is another big hit...

Another idea we have is a board game.. Each memeber is always donating prizes
in our group and we end up with lots and lots of stuff... What we do is take a
bristol board and divide it off into 100 squares.. what we then do is take a
second sheet and divide that into 100 squares as well to match up with the
squares on the other board... In the first board we right in a certain prize
and in so many we write in sorry try again... With the second bristol board we
cut the square on 3 sides leaving the 4th side attached to resemble a door ..
we then tape the door shut.. To play the game a person must pay a dollar and
then pick a door which is labelled 1-100... They may end up with a prize or a
"Sorry try again"... We know we make 100 definite dollars off of that game..
The prizes don't have to be expensive.. We've had knitted dish cloths or
fabric braided hangers and so on...

I hope I haven't confused anyone..LOL

OUR Area Captain will tell us that her chapter has one FUND RAISER a year
and that is making PUMPKIN ROLLS for THANKSGIVING.

They sell so many that they have this annually and make their money for the
year.
Once the word gets around people look foreward to them and they order each
year.

She says it is not like we are going to a Pumpkin Roll festival and eating
them,
It is a fund raiser..........it is something the public like to buy for the
holidays.

Do you really think a bake sale is good advertisement for a weight loss
group?
