--------------How the Walking Record Works----------------
I close out the report for each week at 5:00 p.m. M.S.T., every Friday.
Minutes reported after that will be in the next week's report. I'm in
Arizona and we stay on Mountain Standard Time throughout the year. Each
Walking Report lasts 13 weeks.
Please include the word "walking" or "exercise" in the subject line of the
posting with your reported minutes. This helps me to find them all among
the hundreds of email messages I receive. Most of us include any exercise,
of any sort that is above our ordinary effort in work and living--walking,
running, swimming, cycling, gardening, or whatever.
If you report minutes more than once in a week, I'll add them together., I
figure 20 minutes as a mile and 12 minutes as a kilometer. If your
exercise is more or less vigorous than walking on a level surface, add or
subtract minutes to make your mileage or kilometers about right. It's up
to you--only you will be hurt if you report too much or too little.
If your correct first and last names do not appear in the report, please
let me know. If I miss your report or get your numbers wrong, please let
me know.
-------------My weigh-in last Thursday------------------------
I gained 1.25-lbs and am 4.0-lbs below my goal (19-year KOPS as of Oct.
26, 2008).
