[CyberTOPS] Beagles & Christmas trees (OT)

My pups first Christmas he was 9 months old.. I was lucky enough that he never
ever bothed with my Christmas tree.. If he didn't happen to go near it was
would clap my hands and say "NO" .. I  used to do this same thing with my
kids.. I figured if I set it up that they couldn't touch it they would never
learn.. I never locked my kitchen cupboards either and they learned not to
touch.. I guess I take after my mom who had 11 children and not once put
something around her tree as well..

I remember 40 yrs ago putting the tree in the baby's play pen to keep the
kids
away from it. Later, I used the same trick with the pups.

When I was a kid and our dog would knock over the tree, my mother tied the
top of the tree to the curtain rod.
