I have been sending out assignments.  Please, please keep in contact with 
your person.  It is very disappointing when you don't.  Anyone who doesn't 
follow through will not be included next year.  It is only fair to the other 
person.   Please let me know if you aren't receiving anything from your 
person.  This is to give support through the holidays.

Santa's responsibilities include:
1) Contacting your pal anonymously at least once a week during the time
period, with an email card, snail mail card, something small if you like
(this IS optional) as some have sent through the snail mail a little
bookmark, coloring contest for weight lost, little things like that in the
past........ NOTHING Expensive!!! Some, in the past, have even sent
"packages" of envelopes "to be opened on specific dates.

2) Then, by the 15th of December you should have mailed a Secret Santa gift
to your pal that is valued at $10- $15.00. Please try to stick to this
amount, as it is not fair for someone that does and don't get that in
return.

3) I will be sending out a listing of email card sites (or you can search 
Secret Pal Cards)that have Secret Santa places to email your pal from 
without using your real address!!!!!
You can also have someone in another state or area mail your snail mail from
so they have a hard time guessing who has who.

4) HAVE FUN WITH THIS!!!!! It should be tons of fun getting and sending
all this fun, encouraging, supportive stuff through out the holidays!!!!!

*** A couple of suggestions were made this year and thought them helpful
and I would like to add them here!!!

One is please tell everyone to acknowledge when someone sends them an e-mail
or a card by snail mail. They can acknowledge the snail mail by e-mail.

Once again,,,,,,,,, please have fun with this and don't disappoint your
Secret Santa. Everyone puts a lot into this and if you don't send your gift
it is a great disappointment. I know it happened to me last year. Everyone
is looking forward to they mystery.
