I am back home. First off I would like to thank all those who sent me cards and email after my mom's death. We had a quiet ceremony in Calgary. I was able to see a lot of my family including my nieces and nephew who were given up for adoption 35 yrs ago. I found them on the internet about 4 years ago so that was a bonus to my trip.
Sorry Jean I did not yet a chance to connect up with you.
After my family visit I went on to Moose Jaw Sask. to meet a man I have been chatting to for awhile. He was a great source of strength for me when I was going through mom's last month. We hit it off really well and plans are for him to come visit me after Christmas. We are going to work on building a relationship and who knows where this will go. I am hopefully.
Just to tell you, I was pampered while I was visiting him. He arrived to pick me up with 2 doz. long stem red roses. He treated me to the touristy things and I met his mom and many of his close friends. His mom is such an inspiration, she is 92 yrs old and goes to Curves for exercise 3 days a week. Any way it was a great time and I would like to say I am glad to be back home but would rather still be in Moose Jaw. I feel like a teenager.
I am back at work and ready to send my son off to school. My first weigh in back will be Sept 8th. Not sure how I did with my weight while I was gone.
