Down 2.8 pounds this week with 4.5 hours of exercise! Not bad! I drank my 6 cups of water daily and wrote down every calorie, watching not to go over my limits too much, and most of the time I did not eat after 7 pm!
So that means 30.2 pounds to KOPS goal and I've lost 5.3 lbs since I joined Tops.
I actually gave up dessert and unhealthy snacking in favour of a lower calorie dessert that is SO good that I don't miss chips, cake, ice-cream, chocolate bars or restaurant desserts at all. I do on occasion have a little dark chocolate..not too sweet...but I am wary of where it could lead and don't overindulge! Anyway here's the shake recipe:
Ice fruit-nut shake:
6 ice cubes, a banana and/or other fruit, water or plain rice-milk, plain cocoa and some plain almonds in a blender with a little vanilla if desired and blend well. NO sugar! This makes a HUGE shake and feels like a HUGE dessert but does not go over 300 calories! Add healthy stevia if you want it sweeter - but with a banana I find it sweet enough!
